The new VFOAM (Pebax® technology) developed with Arkema provides both comfort and energy transfer.The dynamic material (Pebax®) is placed under the areas where pressure on the foot is highest when it comes in contact with the ground (foot, metatarsals).This Pebax® material is combined with a denser EVA on the outer edge of the sole that facilitates a good foot movement. |

LIGHTNESS |
The weight of a running shoe has a significant effect on energy expenditure and hence, the performance of the runner:the lighter the boot, the higher the performance.The VFOAM has been selected for its low weight.Our engineers have also worked on optimising the weight of the KD500 2 and on the sole geometry specially developed using a generative design process (computer-assisted design):more lugs on the areas that are used more. |
